Contacts Wiz copies or moves contacts between the accounts already on your iPhone. It does that entirely on your iPhone. We don't collect any of your information, and the app makes no network connections.

What the app uses

Contacts Wiz asks for access to your contacts only when you tap Continue, and you can share all of them or just the ones you pick. With that access, it uses the following, only on your iPhone and only to do what you ask.

Everything Contacts Wiz reads, why, and for how long
InformationWhyLeaves your iPhone?Kept
Contact names and company names To list the contacts in the account you pick, so you can choose them No In memory while the list is on screen. Cleared when you leave the app.
The rest of each contact you copy or move: phone numbers, email and postal addresses, birthdays and other dates, job title and department, websites, social profiles, messaging handles, related names, and photo To create each copy you ask for Only into the account you choose, through iOS sync (see below) One contact at a time, during a copy or move
Contacts already in the destination account: names, phone numbers, and email addresses, plus full details for likely matches For Skip Contacts Already There, so you don't get duplicates No During that copy or move only
Account names and types, such as iCloud or Gmail To show where contacts can come from and go No While the app is open
The result of Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode To confirm a Move, which deletes contacts from the source account No Not kept. iOS checks your face, fingerprint, or passcode; the app only learns whether it succeeded.

What it never touches

Where copied contacts go

A copied or moved contact goes only into the account you choose. If that account syncs, such as iCloud, Google, or Exchange, iOS uploads the contact to that account's provider, exactly as it would for a contact you added yourself. When you move a contact, its removal from the source account syncs the same way.

That syncing is done by iOS and the account provider, under the provider's own privacy policy. Contacts Wiz is not involved in it and never sees what the provider does.

What we collect

Nothing. Contacts Wiz has no accounts, no sign-in, no servers, and no network code, so no information from the app ever reaches us.

If you turn on Share With App Developers in Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements, Apple may send us crash reports and aggregated usage statistics. Apple controls that sharing, and you can turn it off at any time. Crash reports describe where the app failed; they don't include your contacts. Like every developer, we also see App Store download totals from Apple.

Storage and retention

Sharing and tracking

We don't sell, rent, or share personal information, and we have none to share. The app contains no third-party code, such as analytics or advertising kits, that could collect it. Contacts Wiz doesn't track you across apps or websites, doesn't use the advertising identifier, and doesn't use cookies.

Security

Your choices

Children

Contacts Wiz isn't directed at children, and it doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Privacy laws

Contacts Wiz handles your contacts only on your device, at your direction, and we never receive them. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we process no personal data on our own systems for anyone, including people in the European Economic Area, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.

Changes to this policy

If the way Contacts Wiz handles information changes, we'll update this page and its effective date and mention the change in the app's update notes. If a future version ever needed to collect any data, the app would tell you before that version could do so.
